DeSantis, 56, of New Bethlehem, passed away Monday December 22, 2025, at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. She was born on May 29, 1969, in Pittsburgh, the daughter of the late James and Helen (Burns) Helch. She married Benjamin L. DeSantis on June 29, 2002, and he survives. Colleen was a secretary for Land Pro Equipment in Frogtown and was a member of the Leatherwood Church. She was an animal lover, especially her dogs, and she had special love for her nephew, Abe, whom she cherished. She is survived by her husband, Ben, of New Bethlehem two sisters, Megan Yarger (Jesse) of New Bethlehem and Ellie Heinrich (Phil) of Cheswick, an uncle and numerous cousins. A celebration of life service will be held on January 3, 2025, at 11 a.m. at the Leatherwood Church with Pastor Doug Henry officiating.
