Sara Ella (Sally) Minich died July 23, 2016 at the age of 76

Born March 12, 1940 to James and Janet (Wilson) Worstell near Hanlin Station PA

Smith (Rodger) of Meadville PA, Theron Walls of Somerset PA, Maureen (Walls) McKay (Bill) of

Prospect VA, and Frank James Walls K.I.A. In 1989, Sally married Ted Minich and took into her heart

seven Step-children: Donald (Buck) Troup (Sandy) of Eddyville PA, Lyle Minich of Widnoon PA,

Linda Shimp of Altoona PA, Ron Troup (Robin) of Smicksburg, Cindy McGuire (Bob) of Putneyville PA,

Mary Huffman (deceased) (Charles) of Kittanning PA, and Joyce Colwell of Pontiac IL.

Sally enjoyed life and was loved by many friends and acquaintances. She served as Clarion County

Commissioner, and was involved with Eastern Star, American Legion Auxiliary, Missions of Love, and

Affiliated with VFW and Eagles Auxiliary, and volunteered at the local Thrift Shop.

She is survived by her children, and a sister Marla Simmons (Bud) of New Cumberland WV and a

brother Walter Worstell who owns the old family farm and their families.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Frank, and Step Daughter Mary.

Visitation will be on Monday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 and on Tuesday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 at the Alcorn Funeral Home in Hawthorn. The funeral service will be on Wednesday, July 27, 2016, from the funeral home at 11:00 am with Pastor John Phillips officiating. Interment will be in the Cedarview Memorial Park in Strattanville.
