Eric R. George

Eric R. George, 46, of New Bethlehem (Deanville), passed peacefully with grace, surrounded by his family, on Saturday evening, December 12, 2015. Eric was born March 16, 1969 in Kittanning, the son of DeWayne R. and N. Marlene (George) George. He married Carol (DeBacco) George November 26, 1994.

He graduated from Redbank Valley High School in 1987 and he belonged to the Distant Baptist Church. His life was certainly a testimony to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Eric dedicated his life to George Trucking Inc. He enjoyed truck pulling in the “Fearless Ford”, hunting and spending time with his family.

He is survived by, his wife Carol George, both his parents, DeWayne and Marlene George, three brothers, Kevin George and his wife Vicki, Brian George and his wife Brenda, and Jason George and his wife Heidi, all of Deanville,  his in-laws, Louis and Mary DeBacco of Treasure Lake and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Monday, December 14, 2015 from 2 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday 9 to 11 a.m. at the Distant Baptist Church, 2238 Madison Road, Distant, Pa. 16223. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 15, 2015, at the church, with Pastor Lyle Westover officiating. Interment will be in the Deanville Cemetery.
