Hazel Josephine Wells (Trout)

Hazel J. Wells, 88, of Wheatland, died early Friday morning, December 23, 2016 at the Avalon Nursing Center in New Castle. She was married to William W. Wells and he preceded her in death on May 29, 2008.

She is survived by two daughters, Margaret Novesel of New Castle and Anna Volk of Wheatland.

Hazel’s wishes were to be cremated. Interment will be in the North Freedom Cemetery in Ringgold Township, Jefferson County.

The Alcorn Funeral Home in Hawthorn is handling the arrangements.
