Daniel V. Getty Jr.

Daniel V. Getty, Jr., 63 of Kittanning and formerly of Hawthorn, died on Saturday, May 31, at his residence. He was born on May 1, 1951 in Brookville, he was the son of Daniel V. and Laura L. (Holben) Getty.

He is survived by a sister, Mary Ann Keener and her husband William of Kittanning, two nieces, Lisa Cox and her husband Rob of Kittanning and Tammy Mook of Venango and a nephew, William Scott Keener of Kittanning.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents, an infant sister and an infant brother. A private funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2, at 3:00 pm at the Alcorn Funeral Home in Hawthorn with Pastor Mark Applebee officiating. Interment will be in the Hawthorn Cemetery.
