Justin Luther Shreckengost

Justin Luther Shreckengost, 30 of New Bethlehem, died June 20, 2014, as a result of an automobile accident on Interstate 80. Born May 19, 1984 in Clarion, he was the son of Lyle E. and Patricia A. (Butler) Shreckengost.

Justin served his country with the Unites States Army 542D QM CO. He was an active member of the Hawthorn Area Fire Department and the C.C. Wrangler 4-H Club. He was employed by KMI Trucking in Mahaffey as a truck driver. He was a loving, giving person who would lend a hand to anyone who was in need.

He is survived by his parents, Lyle and Patty Shreckengost of Mayport,  a sister, Jessica Shreckengost of Mayport, maternal grandparents, Lawrence and Ann Butler of Hawthorn, his fiance’, Janelle Stafford  of New Bethlehem, a special cousin, Cory McMillen, and numerous aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; Luther and June Shreckengost.

Friends will be received Monday June 23, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 at the Alcorn Funeral Home in Hawthorn. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 24, at 11:00 am at the funeral home, with full military honors and Pastor Cindy Duffee officiating. Interment will be in the Leatherwood Cemetery, Porter Township, Clarion County.
