Betty Lou Belton (Shick)

Betty Lou (Shick) Belton, 92, of Virginia Beach, Virginia, die on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at her residence. Born on August 19, 1925 in Falls Creek, Jefferson County, she was a daughter of the late Arnold Cribbs and Mary Alda (Wampler) Shick.

She was married to Russell Eugene Shick on September 11, 1948 and he preceded her in death on August 19, 1984.

Betty is survived by a son, Jack E. Shick and his wife Suzanne of Virginia Beach, Virginia, three grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and two sisters, Alice Musser McGinnis of Elkton, Maryland and Majorie Yeany of Sligo.

In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by a sister, Sarah Metz.

Visitation will be on Saturday, August 4, 2018 from 11 – 12 noon at the Alcorn Funeral Home in Hawthorn. The funeral service will follow at 12 noon at the funeral home with Pastor John Phillips officiating. Interment will be in the Hawthorn Cemetery.
