Margaret E. Kautz (Remley)

Margaret E. Kautz, 82, of Shippenville, died late Monday evening, July 30, 2018 at the Shippenville Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. Born on January 1, 1936 in Lancaster she was a daughter of the late William Benjamin and Dorothy Pauline (Hamp) Remley.

She is survived by four children, Maxine Mitzel and her husband Mike of Columbia, Margaret Languerand of New Bethlehem, Mary Mendenhall and her husband Duane of Ephrata, and Marvin Green and his wife Tracy of Moody, Missourri, eighteen grandchildren, and thirty five great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two sons, Melvin Green and Mitchell Green, and three spouses, Melvin Green, John Wasserlein, and Walter Kautz, Jr.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

The Alcorn Funeral Home in Hawthorn is handling the arrangements.
