Benny L. Buzard

Benny L. Buzard, 57, of Clarion, passed away, Sunday morning, September 2, 2018 at his residence, from a chronic battle with heart disease. Born on January 18, 1961 in Clarion, he was a son of Scott and Margaret (Himes) Buzard.

He worked in construction and loved “wrenching” on whatever was in his back yard. His hobbies included hunting and going to demolition derbies and car races. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his two grandsons.

He is survived by his companion, Pauline Burk of Clarion, his mother, Margaret Buzard of Summerville, two children, Amanda Marquis and companion Barry and Jeremy Buzard and his wife Ashley, both of New Bethlehem, a step son, Terry Burk of Clarion, a grandson, Colton Buzard, two sisters, Cindy Merryman and companion Ken of New Bethlehem and Debra Harmon and her husband Rick of Summerville, and two brothers, Sam Buzard and Mike Buzard and his wife Wendy, both of Limestone.

Ben was preceded in death by his father, Scott Buzard and a grandson, Colby D. Buzard.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 4, 2018, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Alcorn Funeral Home in Hawthorn.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations may be made in Ben’s honor to the Alcorn Funeral Home, P.O. Box 244, Hawthorn, Pa 16230 to help defray funeral expenses.
