Ina R. Coleman (Champion)

Ina R. Coleman, 96, of Mayport (Shannondale), died Tuesday evening, September 3, 2019 at the Jefferson Manor in Brookville. Born on May 15, 1923 in Shannondale, she was the daughter of the late Ralph H. and Mary Agnes (Bish) Champion. She was married on August 25, 1939 to Jack B. Coleman and he preceded her in death on December 3, 2005.

Ina was a homemaker. She worked for Rola Jensen for over 30 years. She was a member of the Shannondale Zion Lutheran Church.

She is survived by a son, Marc B. Coleman of Mayport, and his friend, Lisa Truitt of Fairmount City, three grandchildren, Gretchen Carl of McDonald, Pa., Greg Carl and his wife, Sheena, of Saxonburg, and James Wingard III of Brockway, seven great- grandchildren, a son-in-law, James H. Wingard, Jr. of Brockway and a grandson-in-law, Jeff Shaffer of Brockway.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also preceded in death by two daughters, Ruth Ann Wingard and Jacqueline Carl, a granddaughter, Sherry Shaffer, a sister, Mary Huber, and a brother, William H. Champion.

Friends will be received Friday, September 6, 2019 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Alcorn Funeral Home in Hawthorn. Funeral services will be on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Kristina Jensen will officiate.

Interment will be held in the Shannondale Union Cemetery, Redbank Township, Clarion County.
