Linda G. Sherry (Bailey)

Linda G. Sherry, 75, of New Bethlehem, passed away on Monday evening, January 12, 2026, at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Born on May 7, 1950, in St. Charles, she was the daughter of the late Milford G. and Willihavene E. (Blair) Bailey.

Linda owned and operated the Shephard’s Inn Restaurant in New Bethlehem for years until her stroke left her unable to continue.

Linda is survived by three children; Ryan Sherry and his wife, Terri, of Fairmount City, Jody Sherry-Scott of Shippenville, and Holly A. Bish and her husband, Todd, of New Bethlehem, five grandchildren; Ty Sherry, Reagan Bish, Chase Bish, Isabella Scott, and Elizabeth Scott, and two sisters; Diana Mann and her husband, Ken, and Deb Rupp and her husband, Terry, all of New Bethlehem.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters: Sandy Stewart, Sue McIntyre, Karen Ortz, and Joan Sherman, and one brother, Jerry Bailey.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Limestone. The funeral service will follow at 5:00 p.m. at the church with Pastor Mike Shreckengost officiating.

Interment will be in the Kellersburg Methodist Cemetery.
