Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Harry P. Toth, 89, of New Bethlehem passed away Saturday evening May 31, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on May 15, 1936, in Dora, a son of the late Steve and Mary (Schrock) Toth. He married Lois Jean Stanford on April 9, 1955, and she preceded him in death on August 19, 2021. Harry worked for Citizens Utilities phone company in New Bethlehem first as a linesman then as Assistant Manager. He enjoyed camping at the Bluegrass Festivals, going on rides with Jean, playing his fiddle, playing the steel guitar, hunting, fishing and going to the farm. His greatest joy was spending time with the grandchildren and great-grandchildren at the farm. Survivors include three children Randall K. “Wimp” Toth and his wife, Amy, Mark R. “Dizz” Toth and his wife, Julie, all of New Bethlehem and Lori J. “Boogs” Bullers and her husband, Brad, of Hawthorn; a daughter-in-law, Rhonda McMillen Toth, of Fairmount City; eight grandchildren, Kayla Pollock (Tom), Amber Schellinger (Paul), Ryan Toth (Lauren), Cory Toth (Chrissy), Courtney Enterline (Keaten), Greg Bullers (Jocelyne), Morgan Klein (Tanner), and Scott Toth (Jasah); sixteen great-grandchildren, Bentley, Faith, Hailey, Noah, Andy, Kenley, Emmie, Miles, Annie, Ace, and baby girl Toth, due any day, Avery, Rylee, Kade, Luke and Wyatt. In addition to his parents, and wife, Jean, he was preceded in death by two sons, Daniel Paul Toth and Douglas Scott “Tut” Toth. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday June 4, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Alcorn Funeral Home in Hawthorn. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with his good friend Pastor John Phillips officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions may be made in Harry’s name to the Tut Toth Scholarship Fund, c/o of The New Bethlehem Little League, P.O. Box 23, New Bethlehem, PA 16242. Please write “The Tut Toth Scholarship” in the memo. Interment will take place in the Ringgold Cemetery, Jefferson County.
