Leoda B. Bailey, 92, of Hawthorn, passed away on Tuesday evening, October 21, 2025, at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Born on June 12, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Frank V. and Veryl L. (Smail) Wadding.

On May 4, 1957, she married Glenn M. “Dodie” Bailey, and he preceded her in death on April 24, 2014.

Leoda attended the First Church of God in New Bethlehem. She worked at Owens- Illinois Glass and in later years, she helped with home health care. She enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with her family and friends. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She is survived by a son, William R. Dinger of Hawthorn, six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by an infant grandson, Dustin Dinger, a sister, Donna Minich, and two brothers, Marvin Wadding and Ronald Wadding.

Visitation will be on Friday, October 24, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Alcorn Funeral Home in Hawthorn. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor John Phillips officiating.

Interment will take place in the Oakland Cemetery in Distant.
