Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on March 5, 2019 at the First Church of God, 418 Brian Lane, New Bethlehem Pa. 16242. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 6, at 10 a.m. at the church.

M. Arlene Hertzler, 90, wife of the late Lester E. Hertzler, of Sligo, died of natural causes, Saturday, February 22, 2019, at her home.

Born April 5, 1928, in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late, Elam and Katie (Wenger) Witmer.

Arlene was a member of the New Bethlehem Mennonite Church, Packing Road, New Bethlehem.

Arlene is survived by four sons, David Hertzler and his wife, Phyllis, of La Esperenza, Mexico, James Hertzler, and his wife Naomi, of Mount Crawford, Virginia, Stephen Hertzler, and his wife Beverly, of Deweyville, Utah, and Harlan Sproul of Plymouth, Minnesota.

She is also survived by four daughters, Carol Eberly and her husband, Dan, of Fayetteville, Anne Halteman, and her husband, Dale, of Sligo, Janet Reinford, and her husband, Jonathan, of West Liberty, Kentucky, and Nancy Mast, and her husband, Delvin, of San Andreas, California.

Also surviving are two brothers, Luke Witmer, of Washington Boro, John Witmer, of Lancaster, two sisters, Lois Good, of Castorland, New York, and Grace Shenk, of Lititz; 44 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, three sisters, and one grandchild.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on March 5, 2019, at First Church of God, 418 Brian Lane, New Bethlehem.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 6, at same location, with Phillip Mullet, Ronald Reinford, Titus Hofer, and Jacob Weaver officiating.

Burial will be at the New Bethlehem Mennonite Church Cemetery, Porter Township.

The family requests that flowers be omitted.
