Roberta Y. Nulph of Avonmore passed into Jesus’ arms on December 21, 2025, in the AHN Natrona Heights Hospital.

Born on April 10, 1927, in Mayport (Mudlic), she was the daughter of the late Arveta (Huffman) Gould.

She worked all her life in factory jobs. Mom was a talented crocheter, baker of bread and pies. She was a fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates and she loved to read. She belonged to the Oak Ridge United Methodist Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Judy D. Valore and her husband, Anthony, she was the proud grandma of Michael Valore and his wife, Gillian, and the proud great grandma of Ellie and Carter Valore.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald “Bud” Nulph, a sister and her husband, Margaret “Tootie” and Myron “Sam” Shick, Grandparents, Edith Bell (Smith) Huffman and Albert Huffman.

Per Roberta’s directions, there will be no viewing or services.

The Alcorn Funeral Home in Hawthorn is handling the arrangements.

Interment will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery with her mother, Arveta Gould.
