Visitation will be on Tuesday, Sept 9, 2025, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2025, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Kellersburg Evangelical Missionary Church in Kellersburg.
Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at the church with Layspeaker Randy Neiswonger officiating.

Ruth A. McKay, 91, of Templeton (Kellersburg), passed away on Saturday morning, September 6, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born on July 3, 1934, in Kellersburg the daughter of the late Lester A. and Eva L. (Hetrick) Mohney.

She was a member of the Kellersburg Evangelical Missionary Church. She was the office manager for McKay Coal Company. She also volunteered at Clarion Hospital with Senior Corps., and was a member of Eastern Star in New Bethlehem.

Ruth was married on November 18, 1953, to Robert H. McKay where they would have celebrated 72 years of marriage this year and he survives. She is also survived by two daughters, Cindy Harrison and her husband, Warren of Westminster, Maryland and Carol Jones of Franklin, three grandchildren, Cayla, Carli (Brandon) and Sarah (Dave), four great grandchildren, Jaxon, Kaylee (Michael), Allison, and Evan and a sister, Eileen Barrett of Kellersburg.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law Duane Jones and sister, Joan Colwell.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, Sept 9, 2025, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, Sept. 10, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Kellersburg Evangelical Missionary Church in Kellersburg.

Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at the church with Lay speaker Randy Neiswonger officiating.

The family suggests that memorial donations may be made to the Kellersburg Evangelical Missionary Church or Clarion Forest VNA Hospice.

Interment will take place in the Kellersburg Methodist Cemetery.
