Sandra M. Boddorf, 71, of Fairmount City, died Saturday morning, March 26, 2016, following a brief illness, at the Kittanning Care Center, with her three daughters at her side. Born on February 10, 1945 in Hawthorn, she was a daughter of the late John F. and Christene (Facemeyer) LeVier.

Sandy graduated from the Redbank Valley High School and was a member of the Class of “63”. She worked at Rola Jensen, the Hawthorn shirt factory, was a cook and a home health care nurse. She attended the Cornerstone Church of God in Fairmount City and was a member of the Clarion Eagles. She enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates, the game show network, playing Bingo, and playing Texas Hold ‘Em at the Clarion VFW.

She is survived by three daughters, Sherri Perseghetti and her husband Bill of Ford City, Christina Clinger and friend Rob Yednak of Pittsburgh, and Andrea Cessna and her husband Merle, Sr. of Kittanning, eight grandchildren, Paige Hockenberry (Doug Painter), Rob Hockenberry, Cody Clinger, Colben Clinger, June Cessna, Merle Cessna, Jr., Cassandra Cessna, and Evan Cessna, three step grandchildren, Bobbi Lynn Uliskey(Ben), Heath Perseghetti and friend Cari Jack, and Timothy Perseghetti (Beth), two great grandchildren, Kayden Painter and Collin Filous, ten step great grandchildren, Taylor, Nicholas, Kytawnee, Alexis, Jackson, Kiaya, Brent, Miles, Crosby, and Braiden, a sister, Donna Aaron and her husband Harold of Mayport, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by four sisters, Norma Steele, Lois LeVier, Berneice Spizzirri, and Lorraine Shick, and five brothers, Darl LeVier, Delton LeVier, Ron LeVier, John LeVier, and Jack LeVier.

Visitation will be on Monday, March 28, from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m.  and Tuesday, March 29, from 10 – 11 a.m. at the Alcorn Funeral Home in Hawthorn. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, March 29, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Mike Hicks officiating. Interment will be in the Hawthorn Cemetery.
