Connie M. Walker (Ritchey)

Connie M. Walker, 77, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2026, after a battle with illness.  Born in Mount Union, PA on October 7, 1948, to the late Cyrus and Annabelle (Shields) Ritchey, Connie lived a full and rich life in family, friends, traveling, and hobbies.

Connie attended Captain Jack High School, worked in Mount Union for a number of years then married David Walker in 1985 and resided in Hawthorn PA as mom and housewife.  Her greatest joy was spending time with her daughter, grandkids, and great grandchildren.  Connie also enjoyed spending time playing cards and bingo with her friends, watching Steeler games, taking bus trips, eating great food, and shopping.

Connie is survived by her daughter Tina and son-in law Corey Shick, four grandchildren; Mckenzea (Jonathon), Riley (Rebecca), Kaylee, and Reagan, and seven great grandchildren; Bentley, Corina, Elliot, Keegan, Phoenix, Lilly, and Lorelei. She is also survived by two sisters Judy (Tom) Varner of Shirleysburg Pa and Linda Ritchey of Mount Union, PA and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her husband David, two sisters Millie Wible and Joy Dull, and two brothers Harold Ritchey and Cyrus Ben Ritchey.

A receiving of friends and family will be held by Tina and Corey at their home on Friday January 9, 2026, in Ford City from 4pm-7pm.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date to include relatives unable to travel at this time.
