Norma Kay “Butch” Kunselman, 80, of New Bethlehem, passed away early Monday morning, July 13, 2026, at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. Born on October 10, 1945, in New Salem, she was the daughter of the late Merrill E. and Lola M. (Carley) Shick. Norma was married on May 22, 1965, to Larry Joe Kunselman and he survives. They were married for over 61 years. She is also survived by two children, Dana McCauley and her husband, Larry, of Deanville and L. Scott Kunselman and his wife, Brenda, of Kittanning, four grandchildren, Brady McCauley, Nic McCauley, Sydney Whitmer, and Emilee Neiswonger, five great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Ellen Pyne of Shippenville and Janet Wadding of Curllsville. Norma was a homemaker and worked at various jobs including Rola Jensen in Hawthorn and Punxsutawney. She also run her own catering business for 20 years with her husband Joe as Noma K’s Catering. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jay Shick and Bill Shick, and two sisters, Mary Jane Shick and Margaret Musser. Norma’s request was to be cremated.
