George R. Veronesi

George R. Veronesi, 71, of Seminole passed away on Saturday August 22, 2026, at his residence. Born on November 14, 1954, in Kittanning he was the son of the late George Thomas and Mildred Lucille (Logsdon) Veronesi.

Mr. Veronesi was a teacher for the Redbank Valley High School for many years. He enjoyed wood working, talking about Jesus and was very active in his church.

He married the former Susan K. (Holibaugh) on June 10, 1977, and she survives. He is also survived by four children, Beth Ann Gaston and her husband, Tony, of Lilly, PA., Tony P. Veronesi, of Fairmount City, Dan J. Veronesi and his wife, Stacy, of Kittanning, and Lauren K. Parisi and her husband, Jason, of Widnoon, seven grandchildren, Karissa, Hunter, Cami, Jackson, Gabriel, Charli, and Jose, and a sister, Deborah Boozer and her husband, Jeff, of Dubois.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a stepbrother, Larry Thornhill.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday August 25, 2026, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Alcorn Funeral Home in Hawthorn.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday August 26, 2026, at 11 a.m. at the St. Charles Catholic Church in New Bethlehem with Father Kevin Holland serving as celebrant.
