Alice G. Guthrie, 92, of Hawthorn, died on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at the McKinley Health Center in Brookville. Born on January 13, 1930, in New Bethlehem, Porter Township, she was the daughter of the late Quincy and Nellie (Gathers) Bashline.

She was married in August 1961 to Kenneth W. Guthrie, and he preceded her in death on October 13, 2013.

Alice is survived by a daughter, Vicky Costello-Moore of Seal Beach, California and three grandchildren, Ashley Waye, Dylan Waye, and Kaley Waye.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by two sisters, Martha Guthrie, and Olive Veronesi.

At the family’s request, there will be no services. Interment will be in the Hawthorn Cemetery.
