Obituaries

Audrey M. Renier, 88, of Strattanville, passed away on Monday afternoon, May 20, 2024, at Butler Memorial Hospital. Born on December 14, 1935, in Rimersburg, she was the daughter of the late James E. and Elsie M. (Holler) Beers.

She was employed at Pengrove Building Systems in Knox.

Audrey was first married to Robert W. Blake, and he preceded her in death. She then married Karl H. Renier and he survives. She is also survived by three sons, Robert J. Blake and his wife, Sharla, Gary L. Blake and his wife, Tammy, and Terry W. Blake and his wife, Becky, all of Strattanville, seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and two sisters, Doris Wonderling of Summerville and Marsha Radaker of North Carolina.

In addition to her parents and first husband Robert W. Blake, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Lou Ann Krouse, a great grandson, Owen Shearer, two brothers, Paul Pago, and Homer Pago, and two sisters, Greta Kitchen, and Kathryn Reitz.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, May 23, 2024, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Alcorn Funeral Home in Hawthorn. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 24, 2024, at 11 a.m. with Pastor John Phillips officiating.

Interment will take place in the Stratttanville Cemetery.
