Obituaries

Bonnie Lynne Hawk, 82, of New Bethlehem, passed away Thursday evening, March 27, 2025, at her home after declining health.

She was born on September 29, 1942, in Indiana, PA, the daughter of the late Alden and Cecelia (Geary) Stahlman.

Bonnie was married on November 11, 1961, to Alvan C. Hawk.

She loved to play golf and enjoyed quilting.

She is survived by her husband of over 63 years, Alvan C. Hawk of New Bethlehem, two daughters, Marcie Jo Barrett and her husband, Eric of The Villages, Fl. and Tracie Sue Gilliland and her husband, Chip of Palmyra, three grandchildren, Shayla Lynne Keith, Skylar Houston Emhoff, and Colby Hawk Cressman, and a sister, Patricia McKenzie of Colorado.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Lee Adams.

Bonnie’s wish was to be cremated. There will be no services.
