Of course we’re sad and shocked to hear Bryan is gone. It will really hit me on Monday both at the office and when I visit the funeral home I’m sure. I was telling my wife some things about Bryan yesterday on our long car ride home from Canton, OH where we showed our rabbits Saturday, which is something Bryan would’ve liked to hear all about. He was always interested in any goings on or activities we did over the weekend. Bryan loved to be a part of things. He always wanted to help in any way he could. This is one of the things I’m going to miss the most! Bryan would help ANYONE in the office with their computer, any testing or coursework we had to do. He was always the first in our Grove City office to complete the annual AHIP training (He called it A-HIB) and tell each of us what to expect, what we needed to prepare for, how long it might take us. He was like a technology savant! He could fix anything on my computer! Just a few weeks ago, I had an issue with my computer that I couldn’t figure out for the life of me and I’d played around for weeks trying to fix it so I asked Bryan finally one day in the office and bip-bap-bop he fixed it in about 2 minutes! I had the pleasure to work with Bryan for the roughly 8 years he was with us at Bankers and I will certainly greatly miss the man! We had the opportunity to work together often doing United Healthcare events (as recently as Wednesday February 12th!). We worked together in the field a number of times running appointments. Bryan even asked my Dad to haul a car for him once. Bryan found me a nice parts jaguar once. My Dad sold Bryan a gun recently. I referred Bryan to my accountant. I met much of Bryan’s family who always seemed very proud of! We talked about God and religion and work and farming and rabbits and family in the office often. Bryan was very easy to talk to! I could b.s. with him in the office way too long-even making me late for appointments sometimes (haha). Bryan dressed up like Santa Claus numerous Christmases in the office for our big Erie Christmas bashes! And man did he ever look the part! Bryan was a jokester and we got after each other often but he could always take a joke! He’s the only guy I know that could cough all the way through a phone call and still keep the other party on the line! He loved to leave me 5 voicemails in a 5 minute time span telling me nothing more than “call me back!” I’d think, “Geez Bryan! Tell me what you need!” (Haha) I saw him mad a time or two but he was never scary mad and was happy and easy going most of the time. I just simply can’t believe he’s gone and I’m going to miss ole Bryan Glen Watkins!!!
