Evelyn and Family, It was a pleasure to care for your brother at the VA. He was a Veteran, Hero, and I am very proud to say he became a good friend. We had many good talks, crys, and laughs together. You all are in my thoughts and prayers during this time of sorrow. But we all know he is with our Lord and Savior now, singing his praises!!! and out of pain. He will forever be remembered. To the Shirey family: You have my deepest sympathy. I have many fond memories of Clarence and your family. My sister, Jane and I would catch the bus to school with Clarence. Since your farm was just up the road from ours, we had many adventures and shared many meals together. So glad that his pain and suffering has ended. God Bless. Sincerely, Joyce Geist Schaeffer
