Janice B. Weeter, 79, of South Reidsburg Road, New Bethlehem, went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at the Clarview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Sligo.Janice was born July 15, 1937 in Distant, to the late Wade and Eula (Nulph) Allen.

On October 23, 1954, she married C. Dwight Weeter, who preceded her in death on Nov 9, 2007 after 52 years of marriage.

Janice was a homemaker and bookkeeper for the family farm. She also drove school bus for Bowersox Bus Service for many years. She enjoyed gardening and lending a helping hand to anyone in need.Janice was an active member of the First Church of God in New Bethlehem, serving on numerous committees throughout her service there.

Janice is survived by a son, Stacy Weeter and his wife Elaine of New Bethlehem, and a daughter Jody Minich and her husband Douglas of Fairmount City. Four grandchildren, Ross Weeter of Homer City and his fiancé Jessica Shreckengost of Mayport, Ryan (Angela) Minich, Joshua (Lindsey) Minich, Janna (Shaun) Daniels all of Fairmount City. Six great-grandchildren, Logan and Brianna Minich, Jacob Minich, Caleb, Nolan, and Sadie Daniels, two brothers, Roger (Vera) Allen of Belpre Ohio and John (Anita)  Allen of Emlenton. Sister’s in law, Velma Lucas, of New Bethlehem, MaryLee Cunningham, of Clarion, and Martie Allen of New Bethlehem, and brother in law Edward( Pete )Hartle of Shippenville,

Janice was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband, a sister, Kitty Reddinger, a brother, Kevin Allen and brother’s in law Robert Lucas, Robert Cunningham, and Ken Reddinger, and sister in law Electa Jean Hartle.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 10, 2016, from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. at the First Church of God, 418 Brian Lane, New Bethlehem, Pa. 16242. There also will be visitation on Friday, November 11, 2016, at the church, from 10 to 11 a.m. with funeral services to follow at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. John Phillips officiating.

Burial will be at the Leatherwood Cemetery, Porter Twp.
