Lois M. Kemp, 94, of New Bethlehem passed away on Monday December 1, 2025, while staying at her granddaughter’s home in Etters, Pa.

She was born on March 21, 1931, in Reynoldsville to the late John and Victoria (Mycheck) Golla.

Lois married Vernon L. Kemp on April 14, 1952, and he preceded her in death on February 3, 2003.

She worked at Rola Jensen and Sylvania factories and was a member of the St. Charles Catholic Church in New Bethlehem.

She is survived by two children, Joan Caldwell of Summerville, and Daniel Kemp and his wife, Judy, of New Bethlehem, seven grandchildren, Brian Caldwell, Bethann Pentz (Ron), Bob Caldwell (Dana), Doug Kemp (Amanda), Faith Kemp, Keith Jenkins (Analine), and Jeremiah Jenkins (Hannah), ten great-grandchildren, Noah Pentz, Easton Caldwell, Kaylee Caldwell, Emma Pentz, Keith Jenkins III, Violet Jenkins, Scarlett Jenkins, Clark Jenkins, Ben Jenkins, and Emma Jenkins, and a sister Donna Thompson of Davie, Florida.

Family and friends will be received on Friday December 5, 2025, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Alcorn Funeral Home in Hawthorn.

The funeral liturgy will follow the visitation at 3 p.m. with Reverend Father Sam Bungo serving as celebrant.

Interment will take place in the St. Charles Catholic Cemetery.
