Louella I. “Lou” Adams, 73, of New Bethlehem, passed away Sunday, February 9, 2025, at the Clarion Hospital.

Born on February 25, 1951, in Kittanning, she was the daughter of the late Clayton L. “Tade” and Betty E. (McAninch) Rupp.

She was married on April 27, 1968, to Ronald L. Adams and he preceded her in death on June 18, 2002.

Lou worked as an LPN for various nursing homes and schools.

She is survived by two children, Missy Kube and her husband, Tim of Fairmount City and David Adams and his wife, Sara of New Bethlehem, four grandchildren, Seth (Sarah) Kube, Ryan (Taylor) Kube, Kimberlee Adams, and Zachary Adams, two great-grandchildren, Logan and Elijah Kube, a brother, Alan Rupp and his wife, Connie of Knox, and her dear companion, Joe Walters of New Bethlehem.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Charles “Chick” Rupp and a sister, Sherry “Beanie” Hetrick.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Alcorn Funeral Home in Hawthorn. The funeral service will follow at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Anthony Rosario Adams officiating.

Interment will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, Mahoning Township, Armstrong County.
