Family and friends will be received on Monday, May 19, 2025, from 1 to 6 p.m. at the Alcorn Funeral Home in Hawthorn.
Funeral services will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Bob Ryver officiating.

This loss is deeply felt as Aunt Bertie was so loving and kind natured. She was a natural mother and gave love to those of us that needed it. Bertie knew my relationship with my own mom wasn't good. She came up to me at my mom's funeral and placed her hands gently on.my face and told me that I can come back home now. She knew why I stayed away. . I broke down and started crying right there. She knew me well. You were so blessed to have her as a mom. My heart, love and prayers to all.. I love you Aunt Bertie. Fly High and say Hi to my Daddy, your brother.
