Mark Augusta Rupp, born on June 22, 1967, to Kenneth T. and the late Mary (Guntrum) Rupp passed away unexpectedly at Allegheny General Hospital on November 21, 2024.

Mark was a lifelong resident of Goheenville (Templeton) Armstrong County.

Mark graduated with an associate’s degree in business and worked in banking his whole career.

Mark also served as auditor for Boggs Township for a number of years as well as the current treasurer for the Oakland Church of God where he was a member. In addition to his church membership and service as treasurer. Mark dedicated his life to God and serving others through his volunteer work with the children’s ministry, performing in the annual Live Christmas Tree as well as other various church events. Mark also loved hosting the annual family picnic and going to Benezette.

In addition to his father, Mark survived by the love of his life, Patricia A. (Shoemaker) Rupp whom he married on September 29, 2007.

He also leaves behind to cherish his memory, his siblings, Karen Rupp of Kittanning and her fiancé’ John Toperzer of Pittsburgh, Dianne (Todd) Morris of Kittanning, and Bruce Rupp of Smithfield, N.C., two nephews, Philip and Nicholas, one great nephew, Carter, a niece, Rebecca and her husband, Rich. Mark will be deeply missed by his numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins on his father’s and mother’s side.

Mark also cherished his extended family, Jerry and Marilyn Shoemaker, David and Melissa Shoemaker, Greg and Corey Shoemaker and Jerry Jr. and Linda Shoemaker, nieces, Karlee, Rachel, Alexandra and Aubree and nephews, Nick, Connor and Grant.

Mark also adored his adopted granddaughters, Alivia and Natalie Smith.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at the Oakland Church of God in Distant from 2 to 5 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 5 p.m. at the church, with Pastor Jimmy Swogger officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Mark’s name to Oakland Church of God Children’s Ministries.
