McGuire, 66, of New Bethlehem (Putneyville), passed away unexpectedly, on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at Penn Highlands Brookville Hospital ER. He was born on June 25, 1958, in Brookville. He drove truck for over 30 years for various companies, including East Motor Freight and Mealy Excavation and Construction, Inc. He enjoyed driving truck and spending time with his family, especially his children, grandchildren, and great grandson. He also enjoyed camping, fishing, and hanging with his buddies. Robert was married on January 28, 1978, to Cindy (Minich) McGuire and she survives. He is also survived by two children, Jason McGuire and Bobbi McGuire, both of New Bethlehem, four grandchildren, Michael, Brad, Hadon, and Haley, a great grandson, Dean, and his little dog, Bo. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert McGuire. At Robert’s request, there will be no services. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.alcornfuneralhome.com.
