Obituaries

Ruth A. “Sis” Faulkner, 70, of New Bethlehem, died Monday, October 22, 2018, at her residence. Born on February 20, 1948 in Fairmount City, she was a daughter of the late, Harry and Dorothy (Toronto) Noerr.

Sis worked as a tree trimmer for Neal’s Tree Farm in Timblin.

She is survived by her companion, James McMahan, of New Bethlehem, five children, Mary Ann Trayer, and her husband Mark, Dennis Troup, and his wife Michele, Betty Joe Lucas, and her husband William, all of Mayport, Bruce Troup, and his wife Gina, of New Bethlehem and Michelle McCullough, and her husband Tim, of Pittsburgh, sixteen grandchildren and fifteen great- grandchildren. Also surviving are, six sisters, Barb White, and her husband George, of Climax, Donna DeVaughn, and her husband Mark, of Hawthorn, Gay Hoover of Climax, Pat Weidenhof, and her husband, Daniel of Butler, Cynda Kunselman, and her husband John, of Templeton and Connie Bellesfield, and her husband (Dan) of Fairmount City, and two brothers, Harry Noerr, and his wife Carol, of Big Run and Terry Noerr, and his wife Sue, of Hawthorn.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Kay Wagner, and a grandson, Mark Trayer.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, October 25, 2018, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Alcorn Funeral Home in Hawthorn. Funeral services will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Ben Kundick officiating.
