Our prayers go out to Jim, Greg, Michelle, Kristen, and the entire family. I (Lynne) have known Jim and Shirley since 1968 when I came to New Bethlehem and met them at church. Shirley had the sweetest, sincere smile that always warmed and welcomed you, and when my second child was born, she and the family cared for my first born for a week. We will truly miss her gentleness, caring nature, and friendship. Prayers for comfort and strength to all her family.

Shirley was a great lady. She was so supportive of the Redbank Valley Historical Society. Inc. Whenever she saw a need, she was always there. When we were publishing one of our books and needed a hole puncher to be able to put the books together, Shirley stepped up and said we will buy the hole puncher. She always had a kind word for whatever event we were undertaking. I will always have the highest regards for Shirley and I feel so privileged to call her my friend. She was so proud of her family and for good reason. They are a very intelligent and talented family. We will miss her greatly.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time of sorrow. Shirley was such a kind and sympathetic person. She and I had many good conversations at DAR during lunch. I will miss her. Madelon
