Thomas J. Magagnotti, 66, of Seminole, died on Friday morning, July 15, 2016 at the UPMC Montefiore Hospital in Pittsburgh. Born on October 31, 1949 in Seminole, Armstrong County, he was the son of the late Aldo and Mary (Salvadori) Magagnotti. He was married on November 13, 1971 to Pamala (Adams) and she preceded him in death on September 16, 2012.

Tom served his country during the Vietnam War in the United States Marine Corps. He was a maintenance worker at the Redbank Valley High School. He was a member of the VFW and the Moose of New Bethlehem. He liked to golf, fish, and hunt. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by three children, Kaci Hinderliter and her husband, Rick of Seminole, Peter Magagnotti, and Jason Magagnotti and his wife, Salina, all of Dover, Delaware; six grandchildren, Brooke and Tara Hinderliter, Cole, Jacob, Sophia, and Jordan Magagnotti; two sisters, Jackie Crissman and her husband, Jim of Rimersburg and Roxanne Snyder of Seminole; a brother-in-law, Jack Leshock of Kittanning, and a special friend, Molly Skinner Smith of New Bethlehem.

In addition to his parents and wife, Pam, Tom was also preceded in death by a sister, Diane Leshock, and a brother-in-law, Gary “Fud” Snyder.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 18, 2016 from 2:00 – 8:00 pm at the Alcorn Funeral Home in Hawthorn with a vigil service at 1:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at 11:00 am at the St. Charles Catholic Church in New Bethlehem with Rev. Father Sam Bungo officiating. Interment will be in the St. Charles Catholic Cemetery in New Bethlehem.
