Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Barbara A. Reitz, 69, of Mayport, died Wednesday morning, March 7, 2018, at her residence. Born on May 19, 1948 in Luthersburg, Clearfield County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Flora (Mottern) Smouse. Barbara is survived by four sons, Wade Reitz, Jr. of Pittsburgh, Daniel Heckendorn of Kansas, Christopher Reitz of Marchand, and Adam Reitz and his wife, Marci of Mayport, five grandchildren, Keilei, Kolby, Krista, Calista, and Lettie, two sisters, Betty Jane Craft of Lewisville, Ohio and Bertha Nicholson of Luthersburg, and a brother, Bernard Smouse of Meadville. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by three sisters, Bernice Frye, and twin infants, and two brothers, Blair Smouse and Beryl Smouse. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 on Saturday, March 10, 2018, at the Ringgold United Methodist Church. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am at the church with Pastor Ken Duffee officiating. Interment will be in the North Freedom Cemetery. The Alcorn Funeral Home in Hawthorn is handling the arrangements.
