My condolences to all of Jack's family, thank you Barbara for advising me of the sad news. Jack is a distant Mogle/Mogel cousin that I met many years ago while doing genealogy research. We kept in contact over the years. We have shared visits in each other's homes. Jack and Helen are special to me, I thoroughly enjoyed their company. Last year my wife and I along with several other friends finally achieved our goal of riding the Redbank Valley Trail. I am so glad that I was able to chat with Jack several times during our stay in the New Bethlehem area. It was not hard to "track him down" since everyone in town knows Jack! I will pass along the sad news to many other Mogle/Mogel cousins. And I expect they will update their data bases as Jack would be doing when one of us passes. Rest in Peace, my friend.

Just want to extend my deepest sympathy to Barbara and all oft of Jack's loved ones and friends I knew Jack from the scroll saw club. The first meeting I attended was at a dark country bar called the Star Grille, over 15 years ago. Jack was such a welcoming and friendly presence, that friendship came easily. I looked forward to catching up with him each month at our meetings and seeing what wonderful creations he had made. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Rest in Peace my friend.

I remember Jack so vividly. Being so kind and caring, and always had so many memories to share. Always so kind and lovable. He so loved talking about his daughter, and grandchildren... And Helen... his best friend. Rest in peace, Jack... You definitely gave so much in your life. Enjoy your homecoming! Linda.....

sorry to hear about Jack. We worked together at Redbank and got reacquainted with the scroll saw club. I know him to be one of the finest people I have ever met. I know he loved teaching and loved to tell stories about his students and life at Redbank. I also know how deeply he loved his family and would talk about all of you. Not sure I ever saw him at a scroll saw club meeting without a clock. He loved making those and he loved "reducing" them in size which would produce a chuckle among the rest of his fellow club members. I introduced him to a young Amish friend of mine and he always asked about him. They did meet once and he showered scroll saw works he had done upon my young friend who appreciated his kindness. We would have long talks on the phone about this and that and I was always amazed at how sharp his memory was. I know that was declining with the last couple of calls I had with him. He will be missed by many. His life should be an inspiration to all of us.
