Mabel C. Minich, age 70, of New Bethlehem, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at Clarion Hospital.

She was born on August 3, 1955, in Dubois to the late Louis C. and Mary Jane Meyers Weible.

Mabel was a graduate of Brockway High School. She worked at various places throughout her lifetime, and most recently at Uni-Mart in New Bethlehem as a cashier.

Mabel married David C. Minich on December 29, 2011. They shared over twelve years together until his passing on May 20, 2023.

She enjoyed working on crossword puzzles, visiting with her friends at Broadwood Towers, and spending time with her best friend and cat, Nellie.

Mabel is survived by her daughter, Tammy (Bryan) Allenbaugh of New Bethlehem; son, James (Nicole) Allenbaugh of Alcola; her grandson, Zachary LaBorde of Butler; and two step-children, Robert Minich of Distant and Kelly Smith of New Bethlehem.

She is also survived by her sister, Ella (Bill) Lindemuth of Hazen; brother, Kermit Weible of Florida; and her mother-in-law, Dorothy Minich of Mayport.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mabel was preceded in death by her previous husband, Roger Bish; four brothers, Louis, Robert, William, and Charles; and three sisters, Esther, Mary Lou, and Frances.

At her request, there will be no services at this time.

The Alcorn Funeral Home in Hawthorn is handling the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mabel’s honor to a local animal shelter of one’s choice.
