I not only had Mr. McMaster as a teacher at Delaware Valley Middle School, I had the privilege of knowing him for a lot of years before that. Before my brother and I started school, he would walk to and from school every day on the back path along the Delaware River and walked through my grandparents' yard on that trek. My brother and I would meet him every morning as he neared the yard and walked with him thru the yard till he went into the woods in the back. From there we would stand and watch him and his backpack make their way. As we entered middle school, we got the privilege to make that walk with him every morning and afternoon. We learned so much from him on those walks. He was a great man and treated us if we were part of his family. Please know there are alot of former Delaware Valley students that are feeling a great pain right now over his passing. He was not only our teacher, he was a father figure, a mentor and a great friend. Peace and thoughts to his family, please know he will forever be remembered in our hearts.

I had the honor and privilege to meet this amazing man before he passed. He will be missed and he will always be loved by his family and friends. He touched my heart and I am blessed to have known him. Rest with all those who passed before you and know we will celebrate your life.

Mindy is a friend from my church here in NC. Her Dad and mom raised a wonderful daughter. God bless the entire family.

I am among one of the many lucky people to have been taught by Mr. McMaster in 8th grade at Delaware Valley Middle School. He was one of those teachers you just didn't forget. He was a very kind man. I may not remember all the things he said but I can still hear his voice. Many years have passed since then, we went on to be the graduating Class of 1981. He helped us all get to that day, graduation ! Thank you Sir for being a teacher that would become a lasting memory. To his friends and family my condolences. Brenda Neprash Holt

I was privileged to be Ron's (and also Mable's previously) cleaning lady for a number of years. I will miss going there to help out and also sharing a soup lunch with him. He was a friend and a type of father figure having lost my own father in 2017. He frequently offered words of encouragement to me. I had also attended church with Ron and Mable for many years. My sincerest sympathy to his family. . .may the Lord comfort you all and surround you with His love and peace and also give you strength for the days ahead. Lisa Boozer
