Bailey, 97, of New Bethlehem, passed away on Sunday March 1, 2026, at Laurel Brook personal care in Brookville. She was born on July 4, 1928, to Daniel and Lucy May (Shankle) McGregor in Oak Ridge. She was a member of the Putneyville Methodist Church. She worked at Rolo Jensen in Punxsutawney and Sylvania in Brookville. Ruby loved raising her family and was an extremely good housekeeper. One of her favorite hobbies was making sure her house was clean and tidy. She is survived by three children, Patricia L. Pickens, Sharon, William A. Bailey and wife Kathy, Rochester Mills, Lindon L. Bailey and wife Angie, New Bethlehem. Seven grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents, her husband Bernard A. “Ben” Bailey in 1995, a great-great-grandson Tucker, and a son-in-law George Pickens, five brothers and two sisters. Friends will be received on Friday from 5:00 PM until the time of service at 7:00 PM at the Alcorn Funeral Home, Hawthorn, PA with Pastor Mike Shreckengost officiating. Burial will take place at Mt.
