I miss you so much Grandpa.... The memories you gave me meant everything. I loved doing crosswords with you and just doing things to help out. I love how you woke up instantly and pretended like you were just resting your eyes lol. I miss so much about you. You and Grandma were the world to me . I hate that you had to move far away and I had no way of connecting with you. Love you forever

It is truly so hard for me to find the words to say right now but I will miss you so much Grandpa. I always loved being able to talk to you on the phone, you would tell me so many stories. You also made sure I knew how important it is to get an education and I’m focused on doing just that. I know you are watching over me from heaven and I hope you are proud of me. Until I see you again grandpa Rest In Peace I love you.

I remember the first time I met you. It was at that farm Aunt Terri used to live at, you know the one in indiana. Anyhow when I first walked in you and Grandma were standing right inside the door so excited to finally meet Chandler and I. Then we hugged and I Remember that I was almost as tall as you, almost. I'll always think of that moment with you and smile. So, Goodbye Grandpa. I love you and hope to see you again one day.

My Dad was a good Dad. He always provided for his family. We never went without. He was strict, which was a little scary to me., but I knew he loved us, especially when he would take his arm and hug you until it almost hurt, he had long hugs. He loved gardening, and I was by his side a lot . I do remember one day pulling weeds, but I took the lazy way out and just covered the weeds with dirt. Well of course a day or two the weeds grew back. Dad knew what I did and had me do it again, this time I did it right. That will always be a funny memory for me. Rest In Peace Dad. Love you

My heart goes out to Mrs. Nancy Thomas and all of her siblings, as well as all of their children and grandchildren as they grieve the loss of Mr. Jackson. I am thankful for his service to our country and also to our youth in the area of education. It looks like he lived a very long life. Not everyone can celebrate 67 years of marriage! Nor can most people say that they have 31 grandchildren and 67 great-grandchildren. That is quite an achievement. May God bless everyone in the Jackson clan as they mourn the loss of their patriarch. Sincerely, Jeremy Holt, Oneida, KY <

I'm deeply saddened by the loss of one of the greatest men I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. I'm at peace knowing you're now in a better place with Grandma. With a heavy heart I say, Until next time...I Love You, Grandpa!!

My Dad was a very loving Dad, strick but still loving. He was really amazing, he dropped out of High School and found he needed a High School graduation to enter the Navy so he got his GED. He went on to receive several degrees in Education he rally enjoyed working with children and making a difference in their lives. My Dad had a very sharp memory of about everything. He remembered most of his students throughout his career and met many in later years. One area that I was cheated in growing up My Dad didn’t pass on to me his ability to recall everything he ever did or his intelligence their must of been a special gene I didn’t get. Words can not express my love for him he was not like most parents today that believe they have to continually post on Facebook how much they “love” someone or the corny saying “to the moon and back” he showed his love for us by his actions. Love you Dad!!
