My thoughts are with Bonnie's family as they mourn. I grew up on Dog Hill and always enjoyed her neighborly visits and the many vegetables she shared from her garden with our family. When I moved back home, it was a pleasure to stop to see her again. She asked my new married name and was delighted to hear that I was also a Smith. When my Dad and son passed in the same year, Bonnie told me to let my hurt out and not hold it in because God would want me to release the pain. Please shed your tears and take her advice. She was a wonderful lady who already is missed. We Caldwell sisters know the hill will never be the same.

She was the best of the best! She was a great cook, and excellent gardener, she loved her family and loved Jesus. It was always a great time when you visited and spent time with Aunt Bonnie....
