Polly (Leshock) Bailey, 82, of Distant, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2024, at Clarion Healthcare and Rehabilitation. She passed from a life of pain, into the joyful arms of Jesus

She was born March 22, 1942, to Joseph E. and Grace L. (Hockenberry) Leshock in Distant.

Polly was intelligent. She was the valedictorian of her graduating class at Redbank Valley High School. Polly enjoyed making any and every type of craft. She especially enjoyed needlepoint work, flower arranging, and paper crafts, including sending handmade cards to family and friends. Her favorite things were shopping, coffee ice cream, listening to Charles Stanley’s sermons and celebrating Christmas Eve with her family. Her biggest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by two daughters, Leah Millis (Dan), of Fairmont City, Karen Hazlett (Mark) of Clarion, five grandchildren, David Millis (Adrienne), Joshua Millis (Amanda), Rachel Millis, Hope Hazlett (Austin Weaver) and Hannah Hazlett. She is also survived by three great grandchildren, Petra Grace Millis, Mara Polly Millis, Noah Allen Millis, and an Aunt Jean Evans, of Distant.
