Dianna L. “Myrtle” Adams, 76, of New Bethlehem, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.

She was born on October 6, 1948, in Distant and was the daughter of the late Denver Rearick and Ruth (Bish) Rearick Slagle.

She was married on December 30, 1972, to Ronald J. Adams and he preceded her in death on January 18, 2017.

She worked at Brookville Glove and later at the Leader-Vindicator. She was a life member of the New Bethlehem Volunteer Fire Company and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She also served on the Redbank Valley Park board. She was an avid baker who sold her baked goods at the New Bethlehem Farmers Market each week. She was a member of the Oak Ridge Community Church.

She is survived by three brothers; Randy Rearick and his wife, Becky of Zephyrhills, Florida, Denny Rearick and his wife, Deb of New Bethlehem, and Byron Rearick and his wife, Denise of North Benton, Ohio, two stepsisters; Sheryl Rockwell and her husband, Rod of Fort Myers, Florida and Lana Hopper and her husband, Terry of Mayport, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Rearick and a stepfather, Harold Slagle.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at the New Bethlehem Fire Hall at 11:00 am with Pastor Mike Shaffer officiating.

The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the New Bethlehem Volunteer Fire Company in Dianna’s memory.
