It is with sadness that Karen and I heard from Debbie that George had passed. What a long , great life he lived ! Our neighbor for many years it was a blow when he and Ethel moved to North Carolina , but understood. George always had a smile and positive attitude. I will remember him sitting on his front alcove in February working on his tan ! He loved a daily drink , usually a quality whisky and was wont to share. He was very proud of his yard and maintained it religiously. I had just spoken with George prior to his passing and am so glad that we had that conversation. Even though we were many miles apart we were still friends and kindred spirits. He will be missed.

Aunt Ethel, Cousins Deb, Pam, and Lisa. We hope that your fond memories will sustain you in your grief. I never got to be with Uncle George that much, but he alway seemed to have a smile on his face. We wish we could have known him better.
