Family and friends will be received on Saturday, February 24, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Oakland Church of God in Distant. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. at the church with Pastor Jimmy Swogger officiating.

To Jim's family.. We are so sorry to hear of his passing. It was always a good day when he and Linda came into the antique mall to trade, talk and deal on stuff. Anna Mae and Theresa, My thoughts and prayers go out to you and the family. Your dad was a major part of my life growing up. He would always come over and talk to me when I’d come home to visit. The smell of the cigars and his swearing in the middle of working bring a happy tear to my eye as fond memories. RIP Jim/Punkin
