Pappy, I say this through tears. You are a father, friend, hero, mentor, and brother. I will be with you again, so I won't say goodbye. You know how much you meant to me! I know you are still standing guard. See you in the end my brother. I love you uncle Leroy, rest well. Ross

Leroy became a friend when I worked three pm to eleven pm at Abraxas I Administration Building. He was my favorite drive with a smile everytime I saw him. He would contribute to my pen fetish when he was out on a trip to surprise me. We wrote when he was overseas. He talked about his family and had many friends here at Abraxas I. He was a treasured friend and will always be in our hearts. - Love you Leroy and love to your family-

We at Abraxas loved working with Leroy - he was an outstanding example of loyalty and dependability. It was a true honor to supervise him all those years but an even greater honor to call him my friend. He will be sadly missed! Our sympathy to his family.
