Obituaries

Ruth C. Neiswonger, 99, of Templeton (Kellersburg), died Friday morning, September 4, 2015, at the Armstrong County Health Center in Kittanning. She was born October 28, 1915 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of the late Charles and Ethel Mae (Beatty) Wiegand. She was married to Alfred Neiswonger and he preceded her in death on August 4, 1985.

Ruth worked as a sales clerk for Wiegands store in Kellersburg. She loved cats, and she enjoyed feeding the animals, whether they were wild or tame. She also was greatful for her kind neighbors.

She is survived by a nephew, Brian Wiegand of Long Island, New York, and several other distant relatives.

In addition to both her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Wiegand.

Friends will be received Tuesday, September 8, 2015, from 9 to 11 a.m., at the Alcorn Funeral Home in Hawthorn. The Funeral Service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ben Shindledecker officiating.

Interment will be in the Leatherwood Baptist Cemetery, Porter Twp, Clarion County.
